Ginger + Dandelion Smoo/Tea
This is an awesome anti-inflammatory warming smoothie that you can have with your breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. I find warm foods are so much easier on my digestive system in winter, which means I find myself cutting back on the raw green smoothies and cook alot of my food instead.
This recipe is inspired by the amazing warm smooteas (smoothie and Tea in one) from a lovely organic cafe in mooloolaba called Ground Organics.
Ginger + Dandelion Smoo/tea
1 Cup of Almond Milk (or your preferred choice of milk)
1 cup of Dandelion Tea, brewed and Hot
1 small knob of ginger (about 1-2cm of fresh ginger or a teaspoon of powder)
1/2 teaspoon of Maca powder
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon of tumeric powder
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy warm.
